When you can’t sleep because you ate too much takeout from your favorite pizzeria, make garlic knot bread pudding with those leftover garlic knots!
1 large egg
¼ heavy cream
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Freshly grated nutmeg to taste (I like A LOT)
3 or 4 leftover garlic knots
Cut garlic knots into bite-size cubes.
Beat egg, cream and seasonings until blended.
Coat garlic knots in the cream mixture.
Let rest for a few minutes to allow the bread to soak.
Put mixture into a small, greased oven-safe dish.
Bake at 350 degrees about 8 minutes, or until the top is golden and crisp.
Devour while watching Archer on Netflix.
